Last Wednesday, on a campaign stop, developer Mike Quattrociocchi approached the Premier to ask the questions “What are you going to do about the natives occupying my site?”. He was referring to his construction site in Brantford, Ontario. To see the clip from CHCH News, click on the link below.
What I found quite humorous, in addition to the look on the Premier's face, was the bit at the end of the clip about the accusations from the Liberal Campaign Office that CHCH News were told Mike was going to confront the Premier, so they put a wireless microphone on him. CHCH was accused of “staging the event” and were threatened, if the story was not dropped they would complain to upper management, Canadian Broadcast Standard Council and deny any further access to the Premier. Wow, that must hurt!

This reminds me of a certain Toronto TV reporter (name withheld unless I can get their permission to publicize it) who made Michael Bryant look silly on camera. There was no exaggeration, no fabrication, no underhandedness. Just a simple question with a simple answer, just not with a result that he was expecting.
A member of the Attorney General's office called the reporter the next day, called this person every name in the book, and told them that they would never be allowed back in Queen's Park.
McGuinty doesn't mind being asked hard or any other questions.
He just doesn't answer them. It's the Fiberal way.
