Here is a link to a list of the articles. Caveat had a great mid week update on this story, which looks as though it could have the potential to be a winner in many ways.
Mississauga City Councillors Carolyn Parrish and Pat Saito were quoted in the article Rambo has friends in high places, they are asking city staff to explore options for Rambo. Both councillors strongly criticized the provincial legislation (amendments to DOLA) in their statements. Hats off to both councillors for their common sense and care for innocent animals caught in the net of the Ontario Liberal Government's irrational legislation.
The murder of dogs and puppies in this province, based not on owners actions; but based on the “look” of a certain dog is utterly ridiculous and downright evil! The provincial government dumped this piece of crap law in the laps of cities and municipalities to enforce (which it is proving to be unenforceable) and be executioner. The cities/municipalities must also brunt the costs of court and possible liable suits, all while the Ontario Liberal government shoots their mouths off about how public safety will be improved as a result of a non-existent (undefinable) breed of dog is banned. The Ontario Liberal government gave zero monies to the cities and municipalities after being asked for financial support once the ban became law.
Finally some common sense and strong words
I meant from the politicians! Specifically Ward 9 City councillor Pat Saito and Ward 6 councillor Carolyn Parrish
Wag the Dog always has strong words and common sense!
