MORE BS ON BITE STATS IN ONTARIO

The Toronto Sun had a pathetic article today. Lassie Get Help, a well worth the read blog, has a good article in response to the Sun article.

The second article in The Toronto Sun was better. The girls from the “Pit Bull Co-op” had some good comments.

Gotta wonder at the timing of such an article within a week of killing Munchie? Is there some twisted logic going on here? Maybe a feeble attempt at justification?

Does anyone else smell guilt?

    I especially like this
A sign of just how controversial the issue can be, animal services officials refuse to allow the media to photograph or have contact with the condemned dogs in their shelters.
“All it would do is make the public very upset about that particular one dog and whoever might own that dog — it would potentially cause them further upset,” says animal services manager Eletta Purdy.
I wish the owners of those dogs would come forward and provide pictures of the dogs bing held.
If a reputable paper won`t publish them,I know a number of blogs that will.
How do you get further upset?
Oh wait I know, when a reporter calls you and asks you how you feel about your dog being slaughtered by Toronto Animal Services.
There are some sick excuses for human beings working at T.A.S.
I thought all the sick twisted sub humans were at Queens Park.
Well there`s one dog`s face that is now known worldwide and I think it would be a very big mistake for that dog to be harmed in any way.

    The world is watching RAMBO!

What's with the Sun lately? Are they having an identity crisis? The paper is bordering on irrelevant these days.
If the dog pictured with the pointless article is supposed to be a 'pit bull', then things are worse than I thought in Ontaristan. Much worse.

How about the fact that the SUN put up a Poll the night BEFORE the front page cover and the mostly negative 2 page write ups asking if people were for or against the ban. They set up the poll (with the negative write ups) so they could INFLUENCE THE POLL and have people vote FOR the ban instead of against it. It was SO obvious and so sad. If the Sun didn't open up some serious eyeballs as to how they TRY and influence issues then there are ALLOT of very blind people in Toronto. How unfair was that to so many innocent family dogs?
